2009 Annual Meeting--5/17An open invitation to “the usual suspects” Garrison Players needs your help and participation Annual Meeting and Year End Celebration: Next Sunday, May 17th, I invite you to join in the fun, festivities and fellowship of the Annual Meeting. It starts at 1PM at the Arts Center (also known as our playhouse-theatre) with a true pot luck. We may have 23 bags of chips and dip or you could bring something more substantial like a salad or a main course. Please BYOB. A short meeting will follow giving you a chance to nominate new officers and vote on the slate of officers. A short recap of the previous year's activities will follow- it has been a busy year! We will then adjourn to the theatre upstairs. We will have a slide show of some of the antics of our members both on and off stage. Also the presentation of the infamous Guppy awards and video clips from the previous year's productions. For you actors- I hope to have next year's directors tell you about their vision for their show next season. We want to continue our award-winning theatrical smörgåsbord of entertainment. Hopefully, the entire event will only last about 3 hours at the most. There would still be 3-4 hours of daylight to enjoy. Here's where you can help....
