DOVER FOOD PANTRY BENEFITS FROM BALL IN THE HOUSE CONCERT

DOVER – Today, Garrison Players President Francois Lamothe surprised Ken Kincaid and Joanne Gorman, founders of the Dover Food Pantry, with cash and a car-load of food items donated by the audiences at a recent concert by the Boston a cappella group, Ball in the House at the Garrison Players Arts Center. Tickets for the two-night concert series on Route 4 in Rollinsford had a suggested donation attached, and audience members responded generously.

The Dover Food Pantry is part of the Dover Cooperative Ministries. Under the capable leadership of Kincaid and Gorman, the Food Pantry has provided groceries and available fresh produce to hundreds of needy in the Dover area for the last 32 years. The Food Pantry is located in the annex of First Parish Church on the corner of Silver Street and Central Avenue and is in need of donations of non-perishable food items. The Food Bank is open on Thursdays between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon.
