A multi-generation family drama about a hero's obsessive mourning and the connection between husbands and wives, parents and children. David is in love with his wife Gillian and continues their relationship for 2 years after her death by talking with her about his life and their daughter; and even though he is living in the past, family problems keep cropping up as his living family tries to pull him into the present.
