Giraudoux's political cynicism is amply evident in this satirical and socially relevant story that expounds truths through the mouths of characters who seemingly would be the least credible...a histrionic woman and a rag picker. It's clear that even in the 40s, Enron tactics were alive and well, although there was no name for it yet.

Bob' first role, after starting his acting career last year, was the leading role in Cheaper by the Dozen at the Rochester Opera House. Jerry Finley (Dr. Jadin) has been a member of GP for many years and has performed in The Fantastics, 1776, Pirates of Penzance, and We, the People. She lives in Rollinsford with husband Fred and has enjoyed this opportunity to perform with him and make new friends. Rich Salvati (Street Singer) After a brief interruption since his debut as Hairless Joe in L’il Abner in 1975, Rich Salvati is terrified to be back on stage once again subjecting his delicate psyche to public ridicule. He thanks son Sam and daughter Isabelle for not terrorizing mom, Kate, badly enough for her to insist he give up the dream and come home every night. He also thanks Tom Dunnington for letting him out of the basement long enough to do this.

Buz Cook (Doorman/Little Man) was inspired watching his 8 year old son in the recent production of TheWizard of Oz. It has been since high school that Buz has been on stage and he is thrilled to be here. Buz is grateful to his wife Mary and son Hyatt for giving him the time to participate in this wonderful play.

Francois Lamothe (Juggler) was Narrator and mysterious man in last year's Into the Woods and he designed that set, as well as the set for Madwoman. His set for Quilters was nominated for a NH Theatre Award. He is happy to have found a theatrical home at GP. He will be the Juggler tonight and soon to be President of GP at the next annual meeting. Don't think he will be like one of "those" presidents mentioned in this play. When not on stage, he keeps himself busy pastel painting and seeing patients at the Portsmouth Dental Studios.

Phil Adams (Deaf Mute) has previously been seen as a Baron and a Reporter with GP a Narrator with Seacoast Rep, a Grandfather and Bar owner at Prescott Park, and a Miser, Ghost, Father and Businessman with Dramedy Productions and can now add Deaf-Mute to that list.
